Tile Shortcuts - Privacy Policy

Information Collection and Use

Tile Shortcuts uses Google's Admob to show ads inside the app, subject to their privacy policy.

Log Data

Whenever you use our Service, in case of an error in the app we collect information (through Google's Firebase) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other app statistics, but not any personal information. This data is used solely to fix crashes and bugs in the app.

App Permissions

Tile Shortcuts uses the following sensitive permissions:

Query All Apps

This permission is used to allow you to select an app or shortcut that you want to create a quick setting tile for.

The data from this permission is not stored or shared. Tile Shortcuts only remembers the package names of the apps you select so it can open them when you click its quick setting tile.

Other Permissions

Tile Shortcuts uses the following optional permissions:

Phone

The Phone permission is only used to allow you to add direct dial phone shortcut to the quick setting tiles. Android will only allow creating a shortcut to direct dial when the app has the Phone permission.

When creating a direct dial shortcut, Tile Shortcuts will save the contact name and phone number to the app's secure local storage space so that when you come to use the shortcut, it can function as intended.

The contact name and phone number are not used for any other purpose and they are not shared with any other app or over the internet.
